Da Deck Boss LLC ("we," "us," "our"), 75 Pilgrim Dr, Windsor, CT 06095, operates the Da Deck Boss Pro mobile application ("the app"), a tool for deck design, measurements, 3D visualization, market-based pricing estimates, and material takeoffs — used by contractors and by homeowners planning their own decks.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account or start a free trial, we collect your name, email address, company name (if any), phone number, and login credentials (password data used to verify your identity).
Device information. To enforce one-seat-per-user licensing, we collect device identifiers and store a cryptographic device token in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). This binds your seat to a single device.
Trial-identity signals. To enforce one free trial per customer, we store one-way hashes of your email, company name, device identifier, and payment-card fingerprint. We never store full card numbers or raw card data.
Payment information. A credit card is required to start the free trial. Card entry and processing happen on our website through our PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not see or store full card numbers in the app.
Project data. Measurements, deck layouts, 3D previews, material takeoffs, and pricing inputs you create are stored so the app can function and sync your work.
Site photos. If you use the camera, photos you take are stored as part of your project records.
Homeowner lead data. If you use lead-capture features, the names, phone numbers, and email addresses your prospects provide are stored for your business use.
Diagnostics. We may collect crash reports and basic performance data to keep the app reliable. This data is not linked to your identity for advertising.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the app and your account
- Enforce licensing terms (one named user per seat, one device per seat, one trial per customer)
- Start and manage free trials and subscriptions
- Detect and prevent fraud and license abuse
- Improve reliability and the app's features
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
3. How we share information
We share data only as needed to operate the app:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (app backend, database) — bound by contract to handle data only on our instructions. Backend hosting: Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Workers + D1 database).
- Payment processor — handles card data on our website checkout; subject to its own privacy policy. Payment processing: Stripe, Inc. (Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant).
- Legal compliance — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
4. Data security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Trial-identity signals are stored as one-way hashes, never raw values. Device tokens live in your device's hardware-backed secure storage.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and project data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except for records we must retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes — including the hashed trial-identity signals used to enforce the one-trial-per-customer rule, which contain no reversible personal data.
6. Your rights and account deletion
You may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may request deletion of your account, by emailing dadeckboss@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Da Deck Boss Pro is a tool for adults planning or building decks and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and notify account holders in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
